How Fees Work
This is called a contingency fee.
For personal injury cases, you don’t have to pay us unless we win your case. If we win your case, the attorney’s fees are a percentage of the recovery. This is called a contingency fee.
Fees are regulated by The Florida Bar. Generally, attorney’s fees are 1/3 of the recovery if we don’t have to sue, and 40% if we have to sue.
We pay the upfront costs to pursue your claim. They will only be deducted from the settlement or verdict after we win.
Because you don’t have to pay any money out of pocket, this levels the playing field for everyone to have access to a lawyer. Your injury lawyer’s job is to maximize the compensation you receive.
